GARY VAUGHAN - IT TRALEE FRESHER PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Congratulations to Spa player Gary Vaughan who was named last week as the IT Tralee 'Fresher Footballer of the Year'. Gary was with the Tralee IT team that won the All Ireland Fresher League in December 2019.
ALL GAA ACTIVITY STILL SUSPENDED
While the country is still under restriction of movement and activity, the club grounds and facilities will remain closed completely until further notice from GAA headquarters. There is hope of some GAA activities returning later the summer, but for now, players, members and the general public are not allowed use of Club Grounds or Facilities for any activity including training or recreational while the current restrictions are in place.
SPA LOTTO
The Spa Lotto remains suspended for the foreseeable future. The expiry dates of annual tickets and online tickets will be extended to compensate for weeks when Lotto is not held.
VOLUNTEERS AVAILABLE FOR ANYONE THAT NEEDS HELP AT THIS TIME
Spa GAA are part of the Community Volunteer programme and as well as the Kerry Volunteers helpline, we have a list of club members in different areas that have offered to be available if called upon during these few weeks. KERRY GAA STORE ART COMPETITION
The Kerry GAA Store are holding an Art Competition for all Kerry GAA Fans with a super prize for the winner - a choice of one of the four official Kerry jerseys. Follow the details on the Kerry GAA Store Facebook page. To be in with a chance to win, draw a picture of your favourite Kerry player wearing one of the four new jerseys (see pictures on the facebook page) and send the entry through Kerry GAA Store Facebook Messenger or email to kerrygaastore@gmail.com. Winner will be announced on Sunday May 31st. Get the pencils & paint out and start drawing. Wishing our young and not so young supporters the best of luck!
