East Kerry got back the Bishop Moynihan Cup after 20 years in Austin Stack Park on Sunday November 10th. Dethroning the current champions Dr Crokes with a great win of 2-14 to 1-7, the team captain was our own Dan O'Donoghue who raised the cup with delight and pride in front of a packed stadium. He gave a great captain's speech and thanked his fellow players, management, East Kerry Board, sponsor The SHIRE, Co. Board and the spectators. Special mention for a speedy recovery for Ian O'Connell who had a health set back recently.
