On Saturday, 30th August, Spa proudly hosted a Girls and Boys U8s & U10s Blitz, with teams from Fossa, Rathmore, Kilcummin, Firies, Listry and Glenflesk joining us on the day. The weather was kind, the football was excellent, and the future stars of our game put on a wonderful display of skill and teamwork.

The event raised funds for the Killarney Cardiac Response Unit, with all team entry fees going directly to their vital cause. The Unit were also onsite giving demonstrations on lifesaving CPR, a hugely valuable experience for everyone who attended.

Alongside the action on the pitch, our wonderful Mothers & Others hosted a hugely popular bake sale, raising funds for Spa Ladies Football – thank you to everyone who baked and supported. A special highlight was the appearance of Spark the mascot, bringing plenty of smiles to the young players!

The day concluded with a brilliant skills showcase, featuring representatives from each club – a fitting finish to a day full of fun, community spirit, and great football.
